Our Founders

Jeni Stephens and Jen Guynn, two Atlanta moms, met through their children’s school.  Becoming friends, they learned they shared a passion for volunteerism and community involvement.  But, as they searched for age-appropriate volunteer projects for their young families, the time-consuming process left them frustrated and disappointed.

Inspired to make a difference in their own community, they came up with an idea for an online resource that would make it easier and fun for busy families to get involved.  In October 2009, after spending a year in research, Stephens and Guynn turned their idea into a reality and launched the Pebble Tossers Inc. youth development organization and family volunteering website.  Currently, over 16,000 members from all across Metro Atlanta find age appropriate projects and ways to make a difference in their communities.
